SEND Provision

We have high aspirations for all our learners, and are particularly committed to supporting our SEND learners to reach their full potential. Our SENCO works closely with all teachers to identify needs early and assess which interventions or specialist support is required. We monitor progress following the ‘Assess, Plan, Do, Review’ model to ensure support is appropriately pitched, targeted and personalised. We focus on the whole child, including social and emotional skills, growth mindset, self-esteem, life skills and wellbeing. Pupils with additional needs receive the same high-quality teaching input, perhaps working on different targets, with resources adapted to individual ability.
