SEND Provision

Islip Manor High School is fully committed to protecting and safeguarding pupils and provides SEND and EAL support. Students are placed on the SEN or EAL register; staff work with the Inclusion Team to support learners. In-class support is offered (e.g., vocabulary work, writing frames, visual stress strategies) and there may be interventions outside of lessons (e.g., social communication groups, Maths, Literacy including phonics, handwriting) delivered by Teaching Assistants and the ELSA team, along with external professionals. There are designated spaces for SEND learners around the school, such as the Regulated Learning Suite and the Inclusion Area.

Admissions Criteria

The school publishes an admissions policy detailing how places are allocated. For Year 7, applications should be made directly to the council in the area you reside in; the deadline noted for 2024 intake was 31 October 2024. Mid-year admissions are handled through the London Borough of Ealing.
