Twyford CofE High School is part of Twyford Church of England Academies Trust, affiliated to the London Diocesan Board for Schools. The school operates with Christian ethos and the 10:10 Ethic (based on John 10:10) as its guiding principles.
A welcome message from Mr Phil Bennett, Associate Headteacher, describes Twyford as an aspirational, Christian, 11–18 comprehensive school with a broad and ambitious curriculum, strong pastoral support, and a high progression rate to post-16 pathways. It highlights the school’s Christian ethos (10:10 Ethic), extensive extra-curricular provision, SEND support, and community focus, including a commitment to developing students’ gifts and leadership across years 7–13.
Sports
7% of students in years 7-11 have Education, Health and Care plans (EHCPs) and there is an additionally resourced provision specialising in Speech and Language development and ASD.
190 Year 7 places are offered each year: 150 Foundation (Christian) places, 21 World Faith places, and 19 Music places. Admissions are governed by oversubscription criteria, with Looked After Children and Previously Looked After Children given priority. There are Supplemental Application Forms for Foundation, World Faith, and Specialist Music, and distance, sibling, and deanery factors are used as tie-breakers.
