Cranmer Stars ARP is an Additionally Resourced Provision for up to 24 pupils from Reception to Year 6 (ages 4–11) that supports autistic pupils and pupils with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
To be admitted to the ARP, a child must have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) naming ARP as the placement type; have identified needs related to Autism or speech, language and communication needs (SLCN); have needs greater than or additional to those typically supported in a mainstream school; meet the Merton ASD Primary ARP Panel entry criteria. Applications are made through the child’s allocated case officer and reviewed by Merton’s ARP Panel for final placement decisions.
