"Working Together To Create Confident, Lifelong Learners"
Bond is a multicultural school - members of our school community have their origins in different countries from all over the world and we speak many different languages. As a school, we acknowledge special festivals from many cultures and religions and encourage our children to share and speak openly about these. It is part of our school ethos to respect and understand each other's faiths and cultures.
Headteacher Michelle Bennett emphasises Bond as a warm, inclusive community with high standards, safeguarding, personalised SEND support, and strong partnership with parents to secure the best outcomes for all children.
We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach and particularly the support our children with SEND receive. Our approach is rooted in a "can do" ethos where, regardless of starting points, high expectations and personalised support ensure that every child feels respected, valued and able to fulfil their true potential.
Applications for entry are ranked against factors including Looked After Children or Previously Looked After Children; medical or social reasons; children of permanent teaching staff; siblings; and straight-line distance from home to the main school. Distances are measured by GIS from the home address to the school reception, with various conditions described for address validity and change of address.
