Early Birds on-site Breakfast Club opens at 7:35am with a light breakfast and activities; pre-book via Arbor; £7.00 per pupil per session; sessions are non-refundable and paid via Arbor. After-school care is provided by 'Happy Faces' (outside provider) in the community hall until 6pm; a light meal is provided; bookings via Arbor.

SEND Provision

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision is identified through observation, assessment and discussions with parents/carers/previous school records and health agencies (e.g., GP, school nurse). Parents/carers are consulted at every stage and invited to attend meetings with the SENDCO (Claire Robson). The school provides SEND information via the SEND Information Report 2024 and SEND Policy.

Admissions Criteria

Dundonald is a two-form entry school with up to 30 children in each class. The Reception places are offered by the London Borough of Merton (LBM) following Dundonald’s admissions criteria. The school lists an Admission Priority Area (APA) and directs applicants to Merton Council’s website for APA details. In-year admissions are handled by LBM.

Financial Information

Nursery admissions: part-time two 15-hour sessions per week; Monarch Butterflies (Mon-Wed mornings) and Peacock Butterflies (Wed afternoon to Fri). Full-time nursery runs 8:30am–3:15pm and is an extension of the 15-hour entitlement; for 2026/27 there is a charge for the last 45 minutes not funded by government (£8 per day). Additional hours for full-time nursery may be self-funded (£35 per day) or government funded (£8 per day for the extra 45 minutes not covered by the 30-hour funding). Full-time places are paid termly in advance and are non-refundable. Children must bring a healthy, nut-free packed lunch. Tax-free childcare options are available. Applications for nursery places are made through Merton Council; admission priority areas apply.
