Curriculum Highlights

Music is a central component of the curriculum. Weekly music lessons are provided across the school using the Charanga scheme, with delivery by MMF and Rocksteady partners. In Year 4, all pupils learn an instrument with an MMF teacher, currently guitar. Children have opportunities to perform in concerts (Christmas, end-of-year), Rocksteady concerts at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, pantomime performances, and the Blues & Roots concert at Wimbledon Theatre. Off-site visits and educational trips are a regular part of learning, including visits to Windsor Castle, the British Museum, Kew Gardens, and other cultural and educational sites; residentials are offered to places such as PGL Little Canada (Isle of Wight) and Stubbington Study Centre.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

In-house wraparound care provided by school staff. Breakfast club provision for 50 children and after-school club provision for 80 children. Breakfast opens at 7:45 am and after-school care runs until 6:00 pm.

SEND Provision

We adapt learning carefully so every child can access the same curriculum as their classmates. This might include visuals, now-and-next boards, chunked instructions, writing frames or quiet spaces when needed. Adults move around the classroom to support all children, helping pupils with SEND develop confidence and independence. We work closely with specialists such as Educational Psychologist, SEMH consultant, Speech & Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist. We maintain a calm, “non-shouting” ethos and build strong relationships with families from day one, including home visits and coffee mornings.

Admissions Criteria
