Oaktree provides a caring, stimulating and supportive environment for pupils with SEND, offering an EHCP‑driven curriculum with differentiation, small class sizes and a multi‑disciplinary team (including physiotherapist, occupational therapist, psychotherapist, speech and language and school nurse). Makaton, ICT programmes and visual aids are used to support engagement, and there is a focus on preparing for adulthood and independence. Therapy programmes are integrated as needed, balanced with full access to the curriculum.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are managed by the Special Educational Needs (SEN) & Inclusion Department based at Enfield’s Civic Centre with close liaison with the school. An Annual Review of the EHCP is used to indicate change of placement. The school offers informal Friday visits for prospective parents/carers and a tasters morning/afternoon if a place is offered; admissions are not dealt with directly by the school.
