Welcome from Headteacher Lisa Walker. The Heights Academy is a new and developing school, part of Forward Education Trust. It opened in September 2023 as a specialist provision for 8-16-year-olds with Education, Health and Care Plans, primarily for those with Autism Spectrum Condition and SEMH. For September 2025, the school started using a three-pathway approach to learning (Adventurers, Explorers, Navigators) to challenge learners and adapt the curriculum. The Headteacher aims to create a sanctuary where pupils can learn and express themselves and looks forward to meeting staff, pupils and families.
