SEND Provision

Reynalds Cross School is a maintained special school for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities; provides specialist education within a supportive, structured and inclusive environment and works closely with families and professionals to meet the needs of its pupils.

Admissions Criteria

All admissions are managed by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council; the school does not accept direct applications from parents or carers. Pupils admitted have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Placement decisions are made by the Local Authority in line with statutory SEND legislation, after consultation with parents and the school. Visits to the school are usually arranged through the Local Authority SEND team. Parents can appeal EHCP placement decisions via the SEND Tribunal. Visits to Reynalds Cross School may be arranged as part of the consultation process.
