Heron Academy has 2 qualified Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSA). ELSAs support pupils in understanding and managing their emotions, work under the guidance of educational psychologists, and provide tailored interventions in one-to-one or small-group sessions to develop emotional vocabulary, relaxation techniques, and problem-solving skills.
