Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions: Year 6 pupils automatically transfer to Year 7; there is no published admission number for Year 7; external applicants wishing to apply for admission into Year 7 are required to complete an in-year application form (available from the school). If fewer than 90 places are taken up by Star King Solomon Academy, then places will be offered to external applicants up to a published admission number of 90, using oversubscription criteria. Reception admissions follow Birmingham City Council’s coordinated admissions scheme and require the home Local Authority’s common application form. In-year admissions information and forms are also provided by the school.
