Priority for places (in order) is: 1) Children in public care or fostered under an arrangement made by the local authority, those with a special guardianship order, or who were previously looked after but ceased to be so because of adoption or a Child Arrangements Order or Special Guardianship Order; 2) Children with siblings attending the school at the time of application who live at the same address; 3) Children for whom Cockburn Laurence Calvert Academy is the nearest high school; 4) Other children. Tie-break is by distance from home. Notification and acceptance of places are handled by Leeds City Council on national offer day.
