St James’ is a Church of England primary school. It adheres to Church of England beliefs and practises with daily worship, services led by Rev. Mark and Rev. Fran, and a close relationship with St James’ Church. The syllabus for Religious Education follows Blackburn Diocese Questful RE and is endorsed by the Liverpool Diocese. Collective worship is held every day and is central to school life, with a weekly service and termly church collaboration.
