"Bringing out the best in everyone"
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Mab’s Cross Community Primary School. Children are at the heart of everything that the school does, and we are committed to providing your child with the highest quality education in a happy, safe and caring environment.
The school follows a Graduated Approach to SEND (Identification, Assessment, Provision, Review); SENDCo is Mrs Bannon, who leads and oversees SEND provision across the school; there is information about Autism Pathway & Service and additional resources such as Local Offer and SENDIASS included for parents and carers.
Applications for primary school are submitted to Wigan Council; parents will be notified in April if they have received their first choice school, or have been offered a place at a different school; induction arrangements include meetings in June, tasters, nursery visits, and individual meetings with parents.
