Welcome from Head Teacher Mrs Jess Eatock, introducing Beech Hill as an Outstanding National Support School in Newcastle and inviting engagement with the school community.
SEN provision includes two specialist SEN Teaching Assistants / Nursery Nurses and access to SENTASS support; targeted intervention programmes for motor skills, social skills and dyslexia; additional funds are used to resource school-based interventions in fine motor skills, mathematics, speaking and listening, spelling and reading comprehension.
Nursery admissions are handled directly by Beech Hill; for other year groups, Newcastle City Council guidance applies; there is information about universal 15 hours early education (and 30 hours for eligible families); eligibility for 30 hours starts the term after the child’s third birthday.
