Welcome to our school website. Our Headteacher describes Dinnington First School as an inclusive and happy school with a warm welcome from children, staff, parents and governors, high expectations, and opportunities that are relevant to pupils’ needs both now and in the future.

Curriculum Highlights

The curriculum is planned around the National Curriculum; the intent is to deliver National Curriculum requirements tailored to meet local context and learner needs. Year Group Overviews and Subject Progression Documents are available for overview of content progression. Early Years Foundation Framework areas are taught in Nursery/Reception: communication and language; personal, social and emotional development; physical development; literacy; mathematics; understanding the world; expressive arts and design.
