Head Teacher's Message

At West Newcastle Academy, our vision is that all children will achieve their full potential, with holistic support, whilst they enjoy, own and drive their learning, gaining self-respect, self-esteem and self-belief.

Curriculum Highlights

The pupils receive a rich, balanced, broad and interesting curriculum. Outdoor provision with weekly trips to beaches and woodlands. Literacy and numeracy skills woven into experiences and taught systematically as distinct lessons. A focus on personal, social and emotional development.

Admissions Criteria

Nursery admissions are dealt with by the school. Reception admissions are managed by Newcastle City Council; in-year transfers are coordinated by Newcastle City Council.
