Head Teacher's Message

The Principal welcomes families and emphasises high standards of education and care, a safe and supportive small community, and a commitment to using modern technology and improving facilities. The message highlights expectations around attendance, punctuality, uniform, behaviour and outcomes, and a drive to ensure Sutton Community Academy students are happy and successful with a focus on GCSE and A-Level achievement.

Admissions Criteria

Space for 170 Year 7 places for September 2026. Applications for Year 7 should be made via the Local Authority by 31 October 2025. In-year admissions follow the Admissions Policy 2025-26. Appeals can be made under the standard procedures; supporting documents include a link to the Nottinghamshire County Council guidance for 2026/2027 and the academy’s Admissions Policy 2025-26.
