The Principal states it is an honour to lead Heanor Gate Spencer Academy, recognised as Outstanding and World Class. He highlights progress since 2016, a commitment to high standards, strong discipline, Team Heanor values, and a culture that aims to challenge, support and enable students to flourish.
The school’s SEND provision is delivered by the Inclusion and Intervention team. It identifies and assesses students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, supports learning difficulties, and advises teachers on meeting students’ needs.
