Headteacher James McNamara warmly welcomes visitors and emphasises the school's long-standing commitment to high standards, inclusivity, and a broad, balanced curriculum. We run a variety of activities during the evening and weekends, both in the Main School and the Sports Hall. In the school, we have a wide variety of facilities available for hire, and can accommodate functions of up to 450 people. These include our Main Hall, Sixth Form Centre, specialist classrooms and workshops. Technical facilities (lighting, PA system, AV equipment), and our technical expert can be hired to provide support both prior to and on the day of your event. Our catering team are happy to design a menu to suit your individual requirements. An experienced site team will also be available on the day of your event. Ecclesbourne offers the space and facilities for staged events including drama and music productions, lectures and conferences. We have a dedicated Lettings Manager on hand to coordinate all event bookings at The Ecclesbourne School. Some of our current customers hiring these facilities include Duffield Wind Band and Fitness classes.

Admissions are coordinated by the Local Authority; The Governing Body is the admission authority.
