The Westwood Academy provides SEND support led by the Senior SENDCO, Mrs Riaz; SEND information report and related policies are published by the school; Coventry SEND Local Offer link is provided; SEND support can be accessed via the school office.

Admissions Criteria

The Westwood Academy accepts pupils from across Coventry and some from Warwickshire, Solihull, Birmingham and Leicestershire. Admissions are managed by Coventry City Council under the coordinated admissions scheme. For 2021–2024 the PAN was temporarily raised to 187 per year and from September 2024 reverted to 157 per year. The school runs open events in September–October for Year 7 entry, and in-year admissions are administered by Coventry City Council.
