Welcome to Finham Park School. We are a large, oversubscribed 11–18 school in Coventry, aiming to provide a World Class education that develops students as global citizens. Teachers are committed to bringing out the best in every young person.

Facilities

State-of-the-art buildings with some refurbished buildings Ground floor is wheelchair accessible; most blocks have no lifts (E Block exception) Ground floor classrooms available for teaching in all subjects; fully ground floor timetable can be implemented Disabled access toilets are available in several locations around the school Hazards are painted in yellow to aid access for visually impaired students Two fully equipped kitchens cooking fresh daily Tuck Inn hut serving grab-and-go food outside Cafe6 – Sixth Form cafe serving a range of food The Library is a listed school facility Water fountains in the canteen and in the E Block for student use

SEND Provision

The Gateway provides SEND provision; the SEND Team is led by the Director of SEND and two Deputy SENDCOs, supported by the PA to the Director of SEND. The team includes ten HLTA(s) and one TA (Internship); day-to-day coordination by the SEND Gateway Provision Coordinator; social/emotional support by Senior Learning Mentor and SEMH Coach; EAL Lead oversees English as an Additional Language. The school collaborates with external agencies including Educational Psychology Service, Complex Communication Team (CCT), SEMHL, and InspirED Pathways, and works with CAMHS/RISE, Coventry Sensory, and other partners.
