Welcome from Headteacher Mrs Carol Pidgeon-Duncalf. Britannia Bridge Primary School is a true community school with HEART (Happiness, Encouragement, Aspiration, Respect, Teamwork) underpinning everything we do, and an Open Door Policy inviting families to discuss ideas or issues.

Admissions Criteria

Reception admissions are organised by Wigan Council; Nursery admissions are organised by Britannia Bridge Primary School; Each class in Reception to Year 6 has a maximum of 30 children.

Financial Information

Nursery (2 year olds): 15 hours of free childcare per week if eligible; 24 part-time places available (Ladybirds). Paid sessions available at £5.20 per hour / £78 per week for 15 hours.
