Hindley Junior and Infant School is a non-denominational community primary school that is inclusive and celebrates diversity and equality.
Headteacher Miss Adele Mckeever welcomes visitors and emphasises an inclusive, non-denominational ethos with a focus on Believe and Achieve, partnership with families, and enrichment to help every child reach their potential.

Breakfast club starts from 7:30am with cereals, toast or fruit and milk or water; After School Club runs 3:15pm–5:45pm with snacks; bookings must be made in advance via the Evolve system; term-time only; registration required.

Oversubscription criteria (applies where there are more applications than places): 1) Looked after children and previously looked after children; 2) Children who appear to have been in state care outside England and were adopted; 3) Children with physical/medical difficulties requiring a funded or resourced place; 4) Older siblings at the school; 5) Children living closest to the school. Note: Hindley J&I School is no longer providing a resourced provision.
