Admissions Criteria

Normal entry points are 11+ (Year 7) and 16+ (Sixth Form). The school may consider other year groups if there is availability. The school does not accept applications from international students. Entrance involves an online application, an entrance examination (for 11+ this consists of two one-hour papers in English and Mathematics; Verbal Reasoning is no longer included from 2026) and interviews, with additional headteacher’s reports from the current school. For 16+ entry, interviews and GCSE results consideration. Offers may include Assisted Places and music scholarships. A non-refundable registration fee of £50+VAT is payable at the time of application; a non-refundable deposit of £400 is required to accept a place. Assisted Places are means-tested; evidence will be reviewed by the Fees Department. Deposits and offers follow the School’s Admissions Policy and Terms and Conditions.
