St George’s is a Rights Respecting School with UNICEF Gold Award for the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
The Headteacher emphasizes that St George’s aims to nurture each child’s self-esteem, self-expression, strengths and ambitions to help them grow into confident, considerate and compassionate individuals. The school supports students with a toolbox of strategies to cope with life’s challenges, maintains small class sizes, fosters strong relationships among staff, pupils and parents, and prioritizes character development alongside academic achievement within a warm, caring community.
Prep School after care runs from 3:30–4:30pm at an additional cost. Pupils can stay for the first hour or for the whole session, supervised by duty staff.
Small Group Support such as SULP (Social Use of Language Programme) is charged at £150 per term. There is a charge of £74 per session (1 session per week) if your child requires Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) and a charge of £40 per session if your child requires Dyslexia support from our SpLD teachers.
Year 7 entrance exam. Years 8–11 admissions are on a rolling basis with places offered after a successful taster day, interview with the Head, a reference from the current school and possibly cognitive assessment tests. Sixth Form entry requires 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (or equivalent), a minimum grade 5 in GCSE in subjects to study at A Level, 5 GCSE Maths and English for UK students, a one-to-one interview, a reference, and a personal statement. Applications are handled by the Admissions Team; private tours are available by appointment. Non-refundable registration fee of £180; applicant must provide birth certificate, passport and visa docs if applicable.
Current Fees (ex VAT): Pre-School - NA; Reception Class £2,550.00; Year 1 £2,960.00; Year 2 £3,160.00; Year 3 £3,340.00; Year 4 £3,400.00; Year 5 £3,480.00; Year 6 £3,660.00; Year 7–11 £4,110.00. Fees as of April 2026 (ex VAT): Reception £2,630.00; Year 1 £3,050.00; Year 2 £3,250.00; Year 3 £3,440.00; Year 4 £3,500.00; Year 5 £3,580.00; Year 6 £3,770.00; Year 7–11 £4,230.00; Sixth Form £2,100.00. Updated fees come into effect from 20 April 2026. Fees cover tuition and educational resources. Lunches are charged at £279 per term and are compulsory for pupils from Pre-school to Year 11 unless a packed lunch is provided for medical reasons. There are additional charges for disbursements, instrument tuition, trips, some extra-curricular activities, books and stationery. Deposit: £180 non-refundable registration; £250 deposit to secure a place (non-refundable); £840 non-refundable registration fee for Tier 4 sponsorship (if applicable).
