Religious Education at Henry Green Primary School is described as more than a subject; it is a vital part of the whole-child approach. Clubs
Breakfast Club runs from 7:40am to 8:30am (last breakfast served at 8:10am). It is open to Reception to Year 6 pupils. Breakfast costs £2.00 per day. Breakfast items include cereal, toast, bagel, fresh fruit and drinks. ABC (Aspiring Beyond Club) runs from 3:30pm to 5:30pm, Monday–Thursday (until 4:30pm on Friday). It costs £4.00 per hour, or £8.00 for both hours. ABC should be booked in advance via the school office.
Nursery admissions are handled through the school; there is a 3-hour government-funded session (8:30–11:30 or 12:20–3:20) with no full-day provision (for September 2026 intake). Nursery applicants born 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2023 may apply. Reception admissions are managed online via the Barking and Dagenham borough website for children born 1 September 2021 to 31 August 2022; priority is given to siblings at the school, looked-after children, those with EHC plans, and then by distance. Parents are advised to apply online between 1 November 2025 and 15 January 2026 and to attend school tours. Year 6 to Year 7 transition requires online application by 31 October 2025. The borough allocates places using its own criteria and processes.
Breakfast Club: £2.00 per day. After-school club (ABC): £4.00 per hour, £8.00 for two hours.
