Head Teacher's Message

The Headteacher, Mr Matthew Murphy, is quoted as saying he is delighted to be the new Headteacher, aims to create an inclusive environment where every child is valued, and looks forward to nurturing confident learners who are well-prepared for the future and proud of their place in the world.

Curriculum Highlights

The curriculum is designed to encourage pupils to think globally and act locally. The school motto ‘Achieve and Enjoy Together’ reflects the curriculum aims to raise interest in the wider world and provide first-hand learning experiences. Community involvement is an essential part of the curriculum, with celebration of local traditions and learning new skills to enable active participation in events throughout the year. The school recognises every child is unique and celebrates and welcomes differences and diversity in the school community. A growth mindset ethos promotes positive attitudes to learning and fosters responsibility for learning and future success. Children leave with a sense of belonging to a tightly knit community and with skills to make decisions, self-evaluate, make connections, and become lifelong learners.
