Welcome to Sunshine Academy. A school with a successful history and a bright future. Our Sunshine Values are at the heart of all we do, and our dedicated staff and Governors support children and families to thrive. We invite you to be part of our history as we prepare you for the future.
Extended Provision includes Sunrise Breakfast Club (7:45am–8:30am) and Sunset Afterschool Club (3:15pm–5:30pm).
30 Hours Funded Provision for 3 - 4 year olds. Eligibility requires working (employed or self-employed) and earnings conditions. Provision offers two session options: Option 1 Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 3.15pm and Friday 8.30am - 11.30am; Option 2 Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.15pm. Children will need a packed lunch or there is an option to pay for a school meal. A Friday extension (11.30am–3.15pm) incurs a fee of £20.
Admissions criteria prioritize: Children in Care; siblings in attendance at the school or paired junior school; pupils who require admission on medical or social grounds as supported in writing by a medical practitioner or social worker; distance between home and school (closer addresses receive higher priority).
For 30-hour funded provision, Friday session may incur a separate fee (£20) if attending the Friday extension; lunch arrangements either bring a packed lunch or pay for a school meal.
