St Luke’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic school but teaches children of many faiths. Catholic faith is central to daily life, with regular masses and holy days led by the parish priest. The school shares its site with the parish church, Our Lady of the Rosary and St Luke, and engages with the wider parish community (e.g., Mini Vinnies). The school welcomes children of all cultures and faiths, or none.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast club opens from 7:45am each day and includes a healthy breakfast; an early drop-off at 8:45am is available. After School Club runs from the end of the school day until 17:45pm with options: full session until 17:45pm, half session until 16:45pm, or a half session after an extra-curricular club until 17:45pm. A nutritious snack is provided for children attending After School Club. Booking must be made in advance by emailing wraparound@stlukes... (Miss Davies, Club Manager).

SEND Provision

The school recognises the needs of pupils with SEND and provides intervention programmes and small-group support in mathematics and writing. It uses a structured, targeted approach to pupil progress, with Teachers and Teaching Assistants liaising to meet targets. The curriculum is resourced and differentiated to meet individual needs, and there is an emphasis on partnership with parents and the wider community. Building Learning Power (BLP) is used to develop learning skills and independence.
