Welcome from Headteacher Carla Adams-McCoy, stating Brinksway School supports autistic children and young people aged 5 to 19 with additional needs, with high aspirations and a collaborative partnership with families, and a commitment to ongoing school development and high-quality education.

SEND Provision

Brinksway accepts referrals for children and young people aged 4 to 19 who will have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and will have a primary diagnosis of autism; may have additional needs including sensory processing, speech, language and communication, social, emotional and mental health, anxiety, pathological demand avoidance, emotionally-based school avoidance, severe and/or moderate learning difficulties and/or specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia.

Admissions Criteria

Aged between 4 and 19 years; will have an EHCP; will have a primary diagnosis of autism (ASC), or associated traits; may have additional needs including sensory processing, speech, language and communication, social, emotional and mental health, anxiety, PDA, emotionally-based school avoidance, and other learning difficulties.
