St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a Catholic school with deep Catholic roots, part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Westminster. SEND Provision

St Joseph’s has a dedicated SENCo (Mrs Uzma Shah) and uses a three-tier approach to special educational needs: Universal (high-quality teaching for all), Targeted (additional short-term interventions), and Specialist (longer-term or external specialist support when needed). Current interventions include reading, writing, spelling and maths intervention programmes; phonics catch-up; Speech and Language therapy; Occupational therapy; mentoring; and targeted support for pupils with statements or Education, Health and Care plans. Progress is regularly tracked, and parents are involved in reviews; transition considerations are included for pupils with SEND.
