Curriculum Highlights

Goes beyond the statutory requirements of the National Curriculum. SMSC lessons and assemblies delivered through weekly themes related to core values. Five school values permeate all aspects of life: Community, Responsibility, Respect, Enthusiasm and Teamwork. Assessment information is analysed by Subject Leads, the Assessment Lead and Headteacher as part of our monitoring cycle; pupil progress reviews are conducted termly; monitoring includes book looks and learning walks. Subject leaders develop year-group long-term curriculum maps to support progression and enable meaningful links across subjects.

SEN provision includes Quality First Teaching, targeted interventions, and high-needs support.
