"Learning together, growing together"
Headteacher Miss Becky Thompson welcomes visitors and emphasises the motto Learning together, growing together, a broad and balanced education, and a caring, happy community where every child and adult is valued, happy and respected.
Reception admissions are via the Local Authority (Peterborough City Council); applicants must apply online through the Council, choose up to three schools in order of preference, and will be told of allocation in April. Applications require proofs of address, being the child’s parent/carer, and the child’s date of birth (acceptable forms are listed on the admissions page). Nursery admissions are for children who are three by 1 September and are part-time and free of charge. The initial nursery allocation closes on 30 April prior to September; spaces are allocated by criteria including Looked After Children, children with SEN referred by pre-school agencies, children in the catchment area, children with siblings in Brewster Avenue or St. Augustine’s Junior School, and proximity. If spaces remain, admissions may occur for children who turn 3 before 1 September throughout the year.
Nursery places are part time (15 hours) and are free of charge. Sessions are five days a week and for 3 hours per day. We offer morning places for 3 & 4 year olds, fully funded for 15 hours, between 8.50am and 11.50pm, Monday to Friday.
