SEND Provision

CAIRB (Communication and Interaction Resource Base) is a specialist provision led at Holsworthy Community College as Oak for students with significant communication and interaction difficulties. It has ten places allocated by the Local Authority and aims for students to access mainstream lessons around 75% of the time. The base provides a structured, supportive environment to manage sensory needs and develop communication and social skills, with a lead teacher and additional support staff, and close collaboration with families to support consistent care and post-16 preparation.
