Welcome from Headteacher Mrs E. Ward. Ravensthorpe emphasises that every child has the potential to achieve greatness and fosters an inclusive, ambitious environment where children develop confidence, resilience and a love for learning. The school invites families to join the community and participate in its ethos of helping pupils reach their full potential.
Ravensthorpe Primary Academy educates children from 4+ through to eleven years (Foundation Stage to Year 6). The school is governed with an Academy Committee as part of Keys Academies Trust. The first priority in admissions is given to looked after children, followed by children with verified medical needs relating to a child, children living within the catchment area, and siblings. In cases of equal merit, priority is given to the child living nearest the school by straight-line distance. The Local Authority manages appeals and provides guidance on the appeal process, including the possibility of an Independent Appeal Panel.
