Welcome to Queen Katharine Academy. I’m Mark Taylor, the new Principal, bringing over 20 years of educational experience. Our core values are Respect, Ambition and Responsibility. We aim for academic excellence, personal growth and strong pastoral support within a wide curriculum and excellent facilities. We value community and collaboration within the Thomas Deacon Education Trust (TDET).

Admissions Criteria

Admission into Year 7 for September 2026 should be made using the online application process on the Peterborough City Council (PCC) Admissions website. Applications should be submitted by 31 October 2025 to be included in the first round of allocations. PCC Admissions Team will notify you of your allocated school online on 2 March 2026. After an offer, please email [email protected] to accept the place and state the child’s full name and date of birth. A copy of the QKA Admission Policy can be accessed on the Policies page. In-Year Transfers, Moving schools (in-year) transfers, Independent Appeals, and Sixth Form admissions information are also available via the site.
