Principal Dennis Kirwan welcomes readers and expresses pride in leading the academy, emphasising high teaching standards, inclusivity, student well-being, and the aim to raise aspirations while fostering safe, respectful, and aspirational learning.
The Academy will admit children with a statement of educational needs naming the Academy. Looked After children or previously Looked After children are given admission priority. Other criteria include children living in the catchment area, children with a sibling on roll, children of staff, and other children whose parents have requested a place. In cases of equal merit, priority is given to the child living nearest the Academy. In-Year Admissions are administered by the local authority. The published admission number (PAN) for Year 7 is 210; external PAN for 6th form is 20. An admissions policy with further details is available via the Academy’s policy documents and Peterborough City Council admissions pages.
