SEND Provision

The SEND section describes a broad package of support including Quality first teaching, small group work, short interventions, and an individual programme of learning for those with an Educational Health and Support Plan. The SENDCo arranges termly meetings with Educational Psychologists and SEATSs, and involvement of external specialists. Pupils have access to Learning Support Assistants, Educational Psychologists, SEATSs, EYAS, and Speech and Language Therapists. School-led interventions include Colourful Semantics, Speech and Language Interventions, Healthy Hands, Sensory Circuits, Cubbie Sensory Pod, Sensory Room, TACPAC (touch and music), Attention and Listening Interventions, Lego Therapy, Individual Learning Plans, SEN phonics groups, Precision Teaching, ELSA support, Social groups, Rapid Readers, Phonics Catch Up, Bucket sessions, and more. The SENDCo oversees all support and progress and liaises with families and outside professionals as needed.
