Welcome to Cleveland Road Primary School. Head Teacher Veena Naidoo offers a warm welcome and describes a happy, successful school with high expectations, a strong emphasis on pupil voice through the pupil leadership team, and a commitment to empowering children to become independent learners in a supportive, stimulating environment.
Clubs
CRPS strives to support all pupils to achieve to the best of their abilities through quality first teaching, in a supportive and caring manner. Some pupils may require additional support from the school which may also be in collaboration with outside agencies. The Assistant Head Teacher and SENDCo is Mr Andrew Bayliss. Joining Cleveland Road Primary School involves an admissions process managed in part by the local authority. Nursery places are allocated with a priority order: A) Looked-after children or Previously Looked-After Children; B) Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan or where it is essential for the child to be admitted on exceptional grounds; C) Children with siblings already on roll; D) The child’s date of birth, with preference given to older children. Children usually start in the Nursery in the September after their third birthday. Reception admissions follow a similar priority order (A–D) with offers made through the Education Department. Applications for In-Year admissions and Secondary admissions are also described with links to the Redbridge site. If you live in Redbridge you must apply through the local authority; if not, apply through your own council. Parents are welcome to contact the school to arrange a visit during the admission process.
