Curriculum Highlights

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is a national birth to five curriculum with seven areas: three Prime areas (Communication and Language; Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Physical Development) and four Specific areas (Literacy; Mathematics; Understanding the World; Expressive Arts and Design). Teaching approach combines child-initiated play-based learning with adult-led sessions; emphasis on extended periods of uninterrupted play, exploration, and collaborative problem-solving; emotions and learning goals are tracked through observation and assessment. Curriculum design follows Intent, Implementation, Impact; includes Curriculum Motivators: Global Identity, Global Possibilities, Global Citizens; and integration of Rights Respecting Schools, British Values, and culture capital through curriculum enhancements and extracurriculars. Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Breakfast Club starts at 7.45–8.00am with a healthy breakfast; daily charge £4. After School childcare is available on a day-by-day basis with two pick-up times: 5.00pm and 6.00pm; daily charge £10 for the 5pm finish or £14 for the 6pm finish. Spaces are open from Reception to Year 6 (Reception considered case by case). Bookings must be made in advance via the ParentMail app; if your child will not attend, cancel the session in ParentMail to avoid charges. SEND Provision

Wraparound care includes Breakfast Club (7:45–8:00am) and After School Club (until 5:00pm or 6:00pm). Fees apply (Breakfast Club £4; After School Club £10 or £14). Booking via ParentMail; spaces available for Reception–Year 6; contact the school office for details.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are through London Borough of Redbridge. The school notes that twins or multiple birth siblings are typically placed in different classes. Preschool waiting list forms are available for admission to the preschool.

Financial Information

Preschool: The school offers 15- and 30-hour funded free childcare. To check eligibility for 30 hours, apply online. If not eligible for 30 hours, there is a fee of £5 per session. Session times (from April 2025): 8:45am–11:45am (AM) or 12:15pm–3:15pm (PM) for 15-hour funded pupils; 9:15am–3:15pm for 30-hour funded pupils.
