Thorpe Primary Academy is a wonderful, multi-cultural school where children feel safe, happy and secure, and leave well-prepared for the next phase of their education.

SEND Provision

SEN provision is coordinated by a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) named Georgia Vincent. All teachers are teachers of SEND, and there are references and links to the Peterborough Local Offer and SEND services, along with related SEN documents such as the SEND Information Report and SEND Policy.

Admissions Criteria

Admission to Thorpe Primary Academy is organised by Peterborough Local Authority. The first priority is given to looked after children, a verified medical need relating to a child, children living within the catchment area and siblings. The school converted to an academy on 1 April 2018, but admissions continue to be managed by Peterborough Local Authority.

Financial Information

KS1 entitlement to Universal Infant Free School Meals. KS2 lunches cost £2.70 per meal. Nursery charges include 15 hours free per week (38 weeks); 30 hours full-time for eligible families; Additional hours £6.00 per hour. School dinners priced at £2.30 per meal. Pack lunches also available.
