Curriculum Highlights

The Lime Curriculum is carefully planned and sequenced through inter-school Hub collaboration to provide knowledge and skills progressive for each stage of learning. The curriculum is designed to transfer key knowledge to long-term memory and is supported by robust assessment and triangulated evidence; CPD and Curriculum Hubs support teaching practice. The Early Years curriculum is broad and balanced, with an emphasis on Understanding the World and Personal, Social and Emotional Development, helping children belong to their community. Vocabulary development is a vital component across all National Curriculum subjects. Termly Topics and subject-specific approaches are used (Reading with Destination Reader, Writing with Jane Considine, Maths with White Rose, Art with Kapow, MFL with Kapow, Science with Unity Schools Partnership, Computing with Kapow).
