Lees Brook Academy aims to provide a high-quality broad and balanced curriculum so every student can be successful, regardless of background. The Principal emphasizes high standards, wide opportunities inside and outside school, and a welcoming, community-focused environment with strong support from staff.

Curriculum Highlights

The Archway Curriculum is designed to provide breadth and depth of knowledge, covering the National Curriculum and going beyond. Curriculum Cornerstones: The Curriculum is POWERFUL, CONNECTED, SEQUENCED, INFORMED, CONTEXTUAL. Three framework concepts: Macro Curriculum, The Archway Curriculum, and the Extended Curriculum. A high-quality Careers programme is delivered weekly from Year 7 to Post 16. PSHE/RSE, literacy across curricular areas, and extended opportunities to develop cultural capital and wellbeing.

SEND Provision

Lees Brook Academy's SEND provision includes The Hub (SEND provision) located on the first floor with two intervention rooms: Hub 1 for cognition/learning interventions and Hub 2 for life skills/self-help. Interventions are tailored for pupils who might have Autism, ADHD, High SEND Anxiety, or sensory needs; progress is monitored with a provision map. Green Lees is a SEND garden for targeted intervention and mentoring. Provisions align with the Archway Learning Trust SEND Policy; SEND Information Report 2025-2026.
