Derby City Council handles admissions; Published Admission Number (PAN) is 180 per year group from Year 7 to Year 11. The deadline to apply for a place in Year 7 is 31 October in the previous year. Admissions are handled online or by telephone through Derby City Council. In-Year admissions use the application form, and a Supplementary Admission Form must be completed to support consideration. The school may admit current Year 11 applicants to the Sixth Form if they meet the specified academic criteria. Appeals are handled according to the School Admissions Code.
