English – Reading: love of reading; well-stocked library; guided reading using VIPERS; reading for pleasure; home and school reading; library access with class libraries and lending. English – Phonics: Ruth Miskin RWI phonics; daily lessons; Fred Fingers; phonics taught in EYFS and KS1; Get Writing opportunities.
