Head Teacher's Message

Welcome to Al-Noor Primary School. Our school is a two-form entry, co-educational Muslim faith school which opened in September 2018. It aims to nurture faith, emotional development and identity, as well as academic achievement, and welcomes Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Curriculum Highlights

The Harmony Curriculum is a thematic approach to the delivery of the school’s curriculum. Curriculum underpinned by Islamic values. Enquiry-based learning that develops students' ability to ask questions and seek answers across the curriculum. Seven Harmony principles: Geometry, Interdependence, Cycles, Oneness, Diversity, Adaptation, Health. National Curriculum is delivered with added value beyond its basic prescription. Subject schemes include EYFS; Phonics (Ruth Miskin RWI); English (Wordsmith); Maths (Power Maths with White Rose); Science (PlanBee); Geography (PlanBee); History (PlanBee). In-house programmes for Qur'an, Islamic Studies, Arabic; PSCHE; Music/Nasheed; Arabic language development.

SEND Provision

We are an all inclusive school who make provision for pupils with SEND. Our SENCO is Ms. Navlakhi Ahmed. You can contact our SENCO by emailing [email protected] or speaking with the school office.

Admissions Criteria

Half of all available places are reserved for Muslim children and the other half are open to all children.
