Head Teacher's Message

Welcome from the Principal: Weavers Academy is a vibrant 11-18 co-educational day school, specialising in literature and the performing arts, rooted in the local community. The school upholds the PRIDE values (Productivity, Respect, Independence, Determination, Engagement), joined Creative Education Trust in 2013, and was rated Good in all areas by Ofsted in May 2022. The staff body exceeds 150, and the school aims to prepare students for life beyond school while supporting staff as an Employer of Choice.

Curriculum Highlights

Spiralling curriculum is knowledge-rich in nature Assessment is aligned with the curriculum (end-of-unit assessments plus annual assessments) Knowledge-rich CET curriculum co-constructed and sequenced across subjects Curriculum content designed to develop knowledge and skills across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and other subjects, aligned to GCSEs and Level 3 qualifications

Admissions Criteria

Year 7 applications must be made via the Local Authority admissions system with an end-of-October deadline. In-year admissions are processed via North Northamptonshire council, and appeals are handled through North Northamptonshire council. Tours can be arranged by emailing [email protected].
