Curriculum Highlights

Knowledge-rich curriculum with a five-year progression road map. First three years focus on broad experience across performing and visual arts, humanities and technical subjects while maintaining core subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Languages, RE, PSHE and PE). From Year 10, the curriculum offers a mix of core and optional subjects across Arts, Humanities, Languages, Catering, Sport, Computing, Resistant Materials and more. Two core strands—Literacy Policy and Numeracy Policy—with targeted interventions to develop literacy and number skills. Comprehensive careers guidance programme. Teachers are experts in their subject areas to provide high-quality knowledge and teaching. The curriculum aims to keep future options open and avoid narrowing study. End points are supported by a knowledge-rich structure including a Curriculum Road Map showing what is learned over five years.
